EMI 201 camera informal studio picture

This EMI 201 in a small studio is typical of the uses for this camera. It is mounted on a Vinten type 444 pan and tilt head, in turn mounted on a Vinten spring balanced pedestal.

Note the BICC Mk4b camera cable, this pattern with a right angle cable had no strain relief rubber boot and was normally used with a fixed camera.

Also of interest is the floor manager with his headset plugged into the camera. No radio production talkback in those times.
