Marconi Television Colour Camera type V3310

Marconi Television Colour Camera type V3310

The Marconi V3310 colour camera used 3 vidicon tubes and it has a large multi way connector to the CCU. It is fitted with a 4 position turret for the standard (at 1960) TV88 lenses that were used on Image Orthicon cameras. The Iris could be controlled from the CCU and an optional 8.5 inch viewfinder could be fitted on top.

As you will see from the following pictures it is in a dismantled condition and needs much restoration.

One other camera is known to survive at the Sandford Mill Museum :- Link
