Philips LDK25 Television Camera with the other body style

Philips LDK25 Television Camera with the other body style.
This is the "A" version with the other body style, it may be that this is the "Norelco" version, it's far from clear. In the A the top lid hinges upward from the side and in the B version it is free to fold over forwards. Note also the absence of the provision for the mechanical lens drive mountings. In the Americas the camera cable connector was a TV81, with possibly, the option of a TV36 connector as used in Europe.

It was suggested to me in 1997 that:- "The Norelco version was not made with magnesium alloy castings, but with a cheaper material. It looks squarer at the corners. This material was poor at RF screening and problems occurred. All the internal wiring was black, making fault-finding difficult. It had a robust PSU."
