RCA TK42 Television Camera

RCA TK42 Television Camera

A big 4 tube camera by any standards, it used a 4.5 inch Image orthicon tube for the luminance and 3 x 1 inch vidicons for the three colours. The three vidicons are parallel, one above the other on the right hand side of the camera and the I.O. tube down the other side. The lens is recessed into the camera body and the tubes faced towards the rear of the camera with the light splitter mirror assembly at the rear of the camera.
