Pye Mk8 television camera type 842118
This is the early version of the Pye Mk8 camera. It was introduced at the same time as the larger Pye Mk7 Image Orthicon camera. It has the same design features except that it uses the 30mm. Plumbicon* or "lead oxide vidicon". It was built to the same high broadcast requirements as the Mk7 and it has many parts in common. look at the link for the Mk7 for more images of the Lens, CCU, and other parts.
