This is the top of the viewfinder. The MkI viewfinder was electrically and mechanically interchangeable with the MkII viewfinder. In period pictures you often see, a MkII camera with a MkI viewfinder or vice versa!

11 valves were used, 2 x 6AG7, 6V6GT, D63, 2 x 6SN7GT, 6SL7GT, 6BG6G, 1B3GT, 6AS7G, 6J6, and the CRT was a 5FP4A

A D63 has the equivalent of a 6H6 which is fitted in this picture, the small red valve.
